Elana Ayalon is a NYC native, who attended the Yeshiva of Flatbush and received a degree in Criminology from Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus. After an internship in the Nassau County Court’s Investigation Department, she took a position in the Chancellor’s office at the Jewish Theological Seminary which reignited her passion and commitment to Judaism that continues to motivate her work today through an extensive career of fostering and growing thriving Jewish communities and spaces. Elana lives on the Upper East Side and can often be found with her dog at Carl Schurz Park, cheering at Yankee Stadium, shopping for odd recipe ingredients at Fairway Market or in Barnes and Noble happily sharing book recommendations with complete strangers.
