Recent reporting has highlighted troubling efforts by the federal administration to target Imran Ahmed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, for his work countering online hate.

In a Jewish Telegraphic Agency investigation, JCPA CEO Amy Spitalnick warns against this weaponization of the government aimed at political enemies and those critical of the social media platforms.

In September 2025, JCPA partnered with the Center for Countering Digital Hate on the report A Home for Hate, which exposed how social media platforms fuel antisemitism. The report found that antisemitic content on X reached tens of millions of users, while fewer than 1% of posts received any warning or fact-checking — underscoring how platform algorithms amplify and monetize hate, and why this research matters.

JCPA continues to stand with CCDH and partners working to counter antisemitism, hate, and extremism online.

JCPA is proud to stand with @counterhate.com in the face of this blatantly authoritarian move to punish the Administration's critics and protect Big Tech oligarchs. Imran and the team at CCDH are important partners in our work to combat antisemitism and violent extremism online.
