The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) congratulates Ambassador Dr. Deborah Lipstadt as the newly confirmed U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism.  Ambassador Lipstadt has been a close friend and partner to our organization. She is extremely qualified for this position and is the right person at the right time to lead the U.S. government’s efforts to ensure the security of world Jewry.

Over the past year, JCPA has led efforts and advocacy to urge the Senate to move forward the nomination process for the Envoy position. Antisemitism should not be a wedge issue for today’s polarized politics. We thank the Senate for bringing the vote to the floor and are thrilled that that she was confirmed unanimously.
