It’s been five years since violence against the Rohingya people of Burma escalated into a mass exodus and genocide. As Jews, we know we cannot remain silent in the face of such atrocities. We praise Secretary of State Blinken for calling this a genocide, and we know that words and statements are not enough. We are proud to join 34 other Jewish organizations and hundreds of people calling for action and justice.
