She made clear: multiple truths can exist at once. The Jewish community has real and urgent concerns about antisemitism—but those concerns are being exploited by the Trump administration to erode civil liberties, due process, and democratic norms.
Jewish safety is deeply tied to a democracy where everyone’s rights are protected. When fundamental freedoms are applied selectively—based on identity or political views—it makes all communities, including Jews, less safe.
