The Tikkun Olam Award: Partner in Repairing the World is one of most prestigious awards of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. Bestowing this great honor provides the JCPA an opportunity to recognize individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment and extraordinary effort to improving the lives of people everywhere and who embody the Jewish principle of tikkun olam. By presenting this award, we are acknowledging its recipient’s commitment to the religious values of social justice, tolerance, and civility in the public square.

The selection of the Tikkun Olam Award recipient is given considerable reflection and thought.  This award has been presented to important figures in Jewish and political life.
