Deborah Price

Deborah Price has spent her career serving the people of Missouri as an experienced attorney and economic developer with a passion for taking on new challenges and making a meaningful contribution to the community. As VP of Business Recruitment and General Counsel for the Missouri Partnership, she works with companies from around the world on multi-million-dollar business investment projects to bring new jobs to the state. Deborah’s efforts have helped the state land new operations in the areas of professional services, advanced manufacturing, research and development, agriculture technology, and health innovation, including successful projects with Boeing, Accenture Federal Services, Cushman & Wakefield US, USDA, and James Hardie, as well as the creation of initial United States headquarters locations for multiple international companies. Deborah is also responsible for managing a broad array of legal matters for the organization.

Prior to her current position, Deborah served as a litigator prosecuting complex civil and criminal consumer fraud cases. She drew on that experience while teaching as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University School of Law. She then spent four years working in the Office of Missouri Governor Jeremiah W. “Jay” Nixon as the Governor’s Director of Boards and Commissions.

Deborah currently serves as the Immediate Past-Chair of the St. Louis Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), Vice Chair of the Harris-Stowe State University Board of Regents (HSSU) and is a member of the St. Louis Mosaic Project Steering Committee. She is also a Past-President of the Women Lawyers’ Association of St. Louis. Since 2017, she has also served as a special public defender representing criminal defense clients pro bono. In 2017 she was recognized as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers. Deborah is a 2011 recipient of the Missouri Lawyer’s Media’s Women’s Justice Award in the category of Public Service Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in history from Washington University and a Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
