New York, NY – JCPA welcomes the ceasefire between the Government of Israel and Hamas, and hopes that Hamas will abide by it and stop firing rockets into, or otherwise attack, Israel.  More than 4,000 rockets were launched toward Israel over the past eleven days. Both Palestinians and Israelis civilians (Jews and Arabs) have been killed or injured by Hamas’ reckless actions.  We urge Palestinians and Israelis to engage in efforts to de-escalate tensions
