The Jewish Council for Public Affairs welcomes the return of the remaining living hostages in Gaza, who, after two years, have been freed from Hamas captivity and returned home to Israel.
Amy Spitalnick, CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, shared the following statement:
Over two years after October 7th, the remaining living hostages are finally home.
This moment cannot undo the pain of their captivity or the loss and trauma so many have endured — but it is a moment of profound relief, reunion, and hope.
We hold the hostages and their families in our hearts as they begin to heal. And we remain steadfast in our commitment to a future rooted in safety, dignity, and peace for both Israelis and Palestinians.
