In the past few days there has been an escalation of violence in Jerusalem and, more recently, seven Hamas rockets fired at Israeli cities. Israel is currently in a state of emergency. JCPA condemns the incitement by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas and urges all parties to do what they can to deescalate the situation. We stand in solidarity with Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorists.  As both Jerusalem Day and Ramadan are being celebrated, we must work against hate and violence and towards efforts for peace, safety and security for Israelis and Palestinians. Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted.
