Tamar joined the JCPA team in July of 2016. She oversees all of the organization’s fundraising activities and works closely with the President, board and development committee. Prior to joining JCPA, Tamar served as the Associate Director of the Westchester campaign for AIPAC, as well as the Director of Youth Activities for METNY USY.
While attending Binghamton University, Tamar became the President of the Jewish a cappella group, and she decided to devote her future career to Jewish nonprofit work. She went on to work for organizations such as the National Jewish Outreach Program and Jewish National Fund. She married her a cappella group’s musical director and the two welcomed twin boys in February of 2015.
Tamar holds a bachelors degree in English from Binghamton University, as well as a master’s degree in Public Affairs from Baruch College.
