Steve Jeannot is the recently appointed Communications Manager at the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. Prior to joining JCPA, Steve worked for more than 15 years in the private sector.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Communications and Human Rights from the City College of New York. During his tenure at City College, Steve took part in a Community Needs Assessment which surveyed the residents of Community Board 9 which includes historically underserved areas of Upper Manhattan. The survey identified areas of need with regard to housing, education, health care, and other resources in an effort to ensure these resources are not negatively impacted by the expansion of Columbia University and other development projects.
Steve has a special interest in advocacy for the arts, education, and human rights. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Nicole, and their dog, Stella.
